It’s been a quiet weekend. Mainly because the flu is no joke and you think you’re fine now and suddenly you’re out of breath. Allowing myself to chill is healing and new, and I’m still flying on the new-ness I can create not only in 2019, but ALWAYS in my life, and so here we are....time to notice how my home catches the light in the morning, and sit in my yard in the early morning with my tea, enjoying the breeze. After two weeks of only working the bare essentials, I’m back on track with SO MUCH direction, heart, and purpose. 🌷 How’s the year going for you so far? Are you still feeling inspired, connected, organized? (Sigh) 🌷 I have huge news 🌷 I am opening up a handful of slots on my calendar for 2-hr Abundant Soul, Power Sessions that will REALIGN, ENERGIZE, and DRIVE you back with your purpose and get you on TOP of your shit this year. Yesterday I watched a video of an influencer bragging about how she does everything herself because she’s learned that if she wants something done, she has to do it herself. She said she didn’t trust anybody. She stood in that stance and called it power. She came across as proud of it 🌷 I get her. I know that I’ve never bragged about acting that way, but I’ve refused to ask for help, accept vulnerability. I’ve refused to believe that I was worthy of support and time. I’ve acted alone because I haven’t felt worthy of the alternative 🌷 It’s taken years to breakthrough those patterns. Starting the Las Comadres community and witnessing these women hold each other so high made it possible for me to start to also ask for support and help. This past week it went way deeper. This past week helped me understand my power to enroll people, inspire leadership and empower action 🌷 May we accept vulnerability long enough to look around and see just how lovingly and deeply we are supported and loved. People around us WANT to help, and we can hold them high, and it’s gonna be fuckin amazing 😎🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Before I came down with the flu. After I came down from the 5 most transformational days of my life. After I became family with 47 beautiful souls. After I decided I’ll be wearing more form fitting clothing more often and allowing myself to embody SEXY Thank you to @wisdom_of_the_body for being my partner through it and thank you to @brendmary for being my buddy forever. In deepest gratitude for the lessons, experiences, breakdowns, and breakthroughs. ❤️ I AM AN OPEN, LOVING, CREATIVE WOMAN ❤️🌷
Last night I was not doing well emotionally. This happens from time to time...usually at night. Last night it came on hard. My astrologer has explained how this has something to do with Saturn being somewhere with me. I can never retain exactly where and why - A lot of important things in my life feel up in the air right now and it is unnerving to me. Remember my promise to surrender this year? Yeah that wasn’t happening last night - I felt paralyzed. It caught me quick and hard, and I knew I would need to cancel everything. I told people I wasn’t feeling well. I don’t have everyday language for emotional pain. I’ve never suffered from depression but ever since I’ve been studying energy work I’ve allowed myself to take down the walls and I have allowed myself to FEEL deeper. The highs are higher and the lows...yeah those too - After many hours of avoiding the world I went to bed and it hit me: SHADOW WORK - I know shadow work. I know that heaviness happening to my heart and my body is just that. My shadow. Like a frustrated little monster, she just wants to be heard. She’s trying to warn me about some shit and keep me safe and there I was ignoring her - And so, I took out my journal. I took a deep breath and asked her to speak through the words I would write. Four pages later I wrote down all of it - all her fears, all her warnings, all her reminders of crap, all the reasons everything will be fucked in the end. I wrote without anger, without judgement, without fear. I wrote with PURE love and acceptance. I wrote and I then read those pages out loud - And then, I sat and acknowledged my shadow as a real part of me. I reminded her that it’s cool, that I got this. That it’s gonna be ok. That we don’t have to be run by fear any longer. I reminded her of our strength. I reminded her that we could do this together. I let her know she could rest now ❤️ - I slept soundly and today was a beautiful rainy day in Miami Pic from a month ago in DR ☀️ - I’m gonna talk about shadow work a lot more on this platform. It permeates everything in our lives. It’s time to stop ignoring, numbing her voice, pushing her down or insulting her. It’s time to hear her out.
